Was gonna start a new thread for this, but I found this one...

Anyone wanna speculate as to what the bonus question will be?

I personally think its gonna be: "What date is international cat day?"

the exam covered everything throughout the term but there was a lot more emphasis on stuff that was done post-midterm 2. there was like a full page of simple fill in the blank reaction questions where you had to either fill in a missing catalyst or draw a product (very similar to the practice problems from tutorial). the bonus question was a really big mechanism question that, if i remember correctly, involved a hydride shift and some other rearrangements (it's amazing how quickly you forget what you learn). there was also some stuff on acid strength and naming functional groups from the beginning of the term. ALSO, there was a ton of multiple choice questions that were moderately difficult.
i studied for this exam a lot and used the textbook a lot as well but her questions aren't usually as complex as some of the ones in the book. use the tutorials as an indicator of difficulty (the hardest question was the bonus, but it was bonus!!).
i also think she bell-curvedd the final mark

maclover says thanks to blenicnl for this post.
