I want to take Chemistry 1a03 at Athabasca University but there are some concerns:

1. What is the grading system like? As in, how do you do your tests/ quizzes since you can basically cheat at home if it's online
2. How do you do your labs?
3. I heard you can finish the course earlier than the 6 months listed on their website?
4. Anyone know if it's easier than taking it at Mac? What about in comparison to York?

Any input would be great. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure its a pass/fail basis and you don't do your exams online you book an invigilator at Mac, etc. But thats just what I've heard in passing.

For tests you have to go to a testing centre and pay for an invigilator.
I looked into doing microbio through athabasca and they wanted me to fly to alberta for a week to do all the labs...
You can finish the course in as little time as you want.
