Hello everyone,

I'm gonna try and put my hopes up for this thread. I do hope some people are taking Chinese 1Z06 this year and or on this website!
I finally managed to get into a long awaited coarse of mine and that is Chinese 1Z06. But the problem is that now its tutorial is conflicting with one of my mandatory courses.
I was wondering if anyone who takes this coarse would be interested to switch cores or Tutorials with me. I have core 2, tutorial 2 and honestly it's tutorial 2 that's giving me all this trouble. It actually messed up my whole entire schedule for 2 terms and caused 5 conflicts within my other courses >_<
If anybody is interested please let me know. I'll be very grateful!

Also, if I went to an academic adviser will they actually be able to do something about this? I don't want to go on the Go Bus back and forth and and end up with nothing much at the end -_-

You should try contacting the department head through email (I think this would fall under linguistics) and explain your situation. They have the ability to open a seat for you in a different tutorial. Moving one student probably won't throw off the numbers significantly.

Hey Galanthus. I was wondering how you managed to get in? I am really interested in taking this course but every time I check on SOLAR it's full. :( Do you have any tips? I would greatly appreciate it.
