Pretty good premiere. Sexting was lulz. I'm interested in seeing how the Chuck's mom thing plays out, and I'm hoping to see a bit more of Linda Hamilton and Olivia Munn.

...I didn't realize how old Linda was though. =\

Now, the only two shows I watch from the ones you listed are Chuck and Fringe, so this is only based on those two. I don't find Fringe to be particularly intelligent, definitely not much more so than Chuck. Chuck is cheesy and over the top, and the humour isn't that intelligent (certainly not when compared to something like Arrested Development). But the humour is quirky and full of pop culture references. It definitely requires a bit of intelligence to keep pace with it (although the action parts have always been a bit brainless, but that's intentional). It's a bit Buffy-esque that way.

Fringe, on the other hand, is usually pretty predictable. It doesn't require too much thought to keep up with, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. It's still good enough to keep my interest, but it isn't what I would qualify as intelligent. Certainly not in the same way Lost, or The Wire are intelligent.

My two cents at least.

Kind of disappointed they brought the Buy More back so damn soon. They should have waited till late in the season. Why blow something up in the finale just to bring it back in the premier?

Other than that I really enjoyed the premier. It was really funny. (Sexting scenes were hilarious).
