				Cinemas in Hamilton?

I tried to search around the forums, but didn't find anything. Anybody know where the nearest good cinema to Mac is?

I guess it depends on your definition of good. There's a theatre in Westdale, that usually shows smaller, more artsy films, but a lot of them are still quite good. For bigger, blockbuster type movies, the closest one is Empire Theatres in Jackson Square, though that one's a little old, and isn't the nicest. If you're looking for a Silvercity type, then I think the nearest one is almost an hour away by bus. Not a ton of options.

				Ancaster Movie Theatre

There's a Silver City in Ancaster. It's a short bus ride, maybe 15 minutes. You take the 5C Meadowlands which takes you right into Ancaster. The area of Ancaster that the theatre is located in is called The Meadowlands and it's a built up community with tons of retail and entertainment.

If you manage to convince a friend that has a car that they should see a movie too, the one in Ancaster is good and by car it's a very short trip

If you don't know much about Hamilton don't post terrible Hamilton advice.

If you want to see a movie you take the 5C Meadowlands (Westbound) that runs right thru McMaster. It literally stops in front of SilverCity Ancaster after 20 minutes. This is the largest theatre in the Hamilton area, and is quite convenient.

Now, why you searched MacInsiders for this information instead of a search engine or cineplex.com is another issue.

Jackson is a good cinema to see the moving picture films.
It has a popcorn machine.
It is like 5$ tickets on tuesdays. Best cinema moving picture films in hamilton area.

It took 15 minutes to walk to bestbuy from the theatre it was awful everything is so spread out and not connected if you don't have a car going to multiple places in that stretch would be a nightmare

I posted this thread two months ago. I have learned quite a bit about Hamilton since then.
Awkward resurrection is awkward.

EDIT: Unless, of course, it helps someone.

I usually just look at the date of the post above mine, never thought to look at the one at the top...
