Class Averages
Is there somewhere we could find the class average for our classes last semester?

I'm really curious as to if I was above or below average - just to judge how I'm doing in comparasion to others in my program.

I always, ALWAYS wish that grades for classes were posted "anonymously", by student number or something.

I'm dying to know how my marks compare to other people's. I ask people, but people lie :(

lol, I experience the same thing. Pretty much every person I talk to lies about their marks. What's funny is when you determine their student number (or at least part of it) without them knowing and then figure out how much they typically add on to their actual score when talking to others.

I always make my mark one notch lower than theirs. For example, if someone says they got an A-, I say I got a B+. Unless I actually did better, then I tell them the truth. Don't ask me why I do this.

I don't really see the point of lying. I always tell people the truth about what I got, no matter how bad it is. It's a motivator to do better :p

Really? I do the opposite. I lower my mark until it's one notch above the other person's, if they give the mark first.

Interesting, I do the opposite. Between competitive people, its 12 or nothing. (There is no in between)

Nicole says thanks to Bobby66 for this post.

I also with averages were posted... It's good to know where you stand among your peers but it's not so important to me that I would bother contacting my professor.
