Class Rank?
My dad took Engineering at McMaster in the late 80s/early 90s. He said that when he got his grade report, it told him what his ranking in the program was. I can't find any info about this anywhere. Do they still do this?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there are way more engineers now compared to before. Due to that, I doubt they still do the whole "ranking" system. Though, it shouldn't be too hard for them to find out though.

Haven't heard of a ranking system in any of the faculties, or any university to be honest. They probably stopped putting the rankings a while back.

Some profs may email you telling you how high you ranked if you ask. I know a few who do that,
Note that this would be just for that course and not overall for your program

I never heard of rankings either, but I know they used to put class averages on the transcripts but that was a long time ago.

I once saw on an application for graduate studies (forgot what engineering discipline) something like that...it asked for the rank in the class.
I am not sure if they still include the ranking in the grade report.
