"Closed" courses on Mosaic
I recently noticed that some of the courses that I've added to my shopping cart on mosaic are now "closed" as indicated by the blue box beside the course. I have a few questions about that.

1)What does that mean? (My interpretation is that there is no more space left in the course.)
2)Does adding a course to my shopping cart guarantee a spot in the course? In other words, if I have previously added a course while it was available and notice that it became closed afterwards, am I still enrolled in that course?

Notes: My enrollment appointment starts tomorrow evening...

Thanks for your time!

Adding a course to your shopping cart does not guarantee a spot, it's just to make your life easier once your enrollment appointment opens up.

The course seats are filled up if there is a blue square, but you can try contacting the department to let you in or wait for more cores to open up - which may be a likely case if the course is a popular one. Here's the department contact list: http://registrar.mcmaster.ca /wp-content/uploads/2015/05/Dept-Contacts-for-Registration-2015-2016-May-2015-FINAL-REVISED.pdf

Not only does it not guarantee you a spot, but you're not actually enrolled in it at all. You can't enroll before your enrollment appointment.
