Its not that different from other courses. It does seem overwhelming but don't get too caught up with all the numbers, like a 35% worth 15 page essay -- this would scare a lot of people off. The main thing is to have time management. Perhaps breaking down the tasks into small mini tasks and getting parts done each week. I know I have pretty much already did my essay outline and bibliography so that I can get going on the essay itself sooner.
In short, don't worry about it and try to put it all in perspective. If you have any more questions or worries you should chat with Dr. Mussio himself; he seems very nice.
