There should be a number of upper year Kin students on these forums...

I'm not a Kin student but I took Kin 2CC3, and am taking 2C03 this year. You no longer have to be a Kin student to take these courses (see Undergraduate Calendar).

Kin 2CC3 was pretty easy and interesting -- mostly about metabolism and essentially the relationship between the cardiorespiratory system and exercise. There is no textbook; just courseware with Gibala's fill-in-the-blank style lectures in them, but they are pretty adequate for doing well in the course.

The labs are also easy marks: you just sort of watch someone do some sort of exercise experiment (unless you volunteer to be the subject ), and the "reports" are quick and straightforward.

Here are the course outlines for both courses: http://www.mcmaster.ca/kinesiology/u...outli nes.cfm

Fight0 says thanks to nh999 for this post.

It's not that... it's more that they just revamped the Kin Program. 2C03/2CC3 has only been around for a year. For instance, I took the older Kin 2C06 course, which I'd imagine differs from 2C03/2CC3 not necessarily in material, but deliverance of said material. I'd rather provide you with no information than disinformation...and I think many people share my attitude.

Fair enough. Seems like the courses are pretty interesting and not so hard. I'll probably take them
