Cogeco question
I'm going to be living in Hamilton, and I graduated Mac already but I want to get the student promotion rate they have for Internet, do you think they will check if I'm currently enrolled at Mac or if they have my student number and school name that should be enough?

They have no way of checking (neither does Bell). My grandparents get the student promotion for internet.

When I got contents insurance they just asked for my school email address and required me to email them from it - I think that's the most they'd be able to do, so you should be fine.

Go with Start Communications instead of Cogeco as your internet provider. The offer the exact same service as Cogeco, except the rates are likely much better, and with a much higher bandwidth cap.

EDIT: Hmm, I just looked into it, and it appears Cogeco's rates and bandwidth caps are a lot better than I remember. Probably still a trap though.

If you are a heavy user, just get Vmedia. All of their plans are unlimited.
