I wanted to take commerce second year courses during the summer to lighten my load for the fall 2013-2014 school year. I'm in first year now business now... Every time I try and add any second year commerce course it says i don't satisfy the requisites... I have all the first year required courses done or almost done so im not sure what the problem is. Help?

Simple: you're not registered in second year commerce.
That won't happen until Sept, so you'll need to see if your department gives waivers.

You need to go in to the APO and get an exception in order to take 2nd year Commerce courses in the summer, as technically, you are still registered in Business I until September 2013!

You can take Econ 2X03 and an elective during the summer. It's not a "commerce course" but econ 2x03 and 1 elective is still required overall for second year. Otherwise, what Heather said, and go to the APO.
