If you take MATH 1LS3 you cannot take MATH 1A03.

You can't take Math 1A03 if you're taking 1LS3, they're anti-requisites. If you want to take a second math course, 1LT3 is the continuation of 1LS3, or you could take 1AA3.

Also, psych's technically aren't required for first year life sci, but if you're going into an upper year program that requires psych, then it would be beneficial to take it. Look into what programs you're interested in for second year.

Depends on what you like/what you're good at. I know a lot of people who took physics over the summer because of the course's difficulty. Also, unless you love math, I would suggest taking 1LT3 over 1AA3. It's relatively easier, but will still count as a prerequisite for any upper year math course that 1AA3 counts for.

instead of taking math 1aa3, i would take math 1lt3. it is much easier and it is still calc. I know easiness isn't everything, but i really enjoyed that class and the prof (Clements) is great. Also, you can't say which profs are easier cus really they don't determine your marks. Each term, every kid writes the same midterms, assignments, exams etc. so if 3 profs are teaching the same course one term, one won't be "easier" than the other

First year students normally complete 30 units (10 courses) including:
  • 3 of BIOLOGY 1A03, 1M03, PSYCH 1X03, 1XX3
This is from the website for the lifesciences year 1 requirements and as you can see you will need to take at least 1 psych course

so i wouldn't have any penalty for taking both 1LT3 and 1LS3?
also, can i take either physics 1b03 and 1bb3? or do i need 1bo3 to take 1bb3?

it's not possible because they're antirequisites.

You should really read the course calendar. That way you can plan everything properly.
