Commerce 1E03 - Upper years help...
For people who have written these midterms, what do you think my studying should focus on? Is knowing the textbook material better than knowing lecture material, vice versa?
Also, any other study tips would be helpful
Thanks.

know both. Seriously. Cossa is notorious for pulling miniscule shet out of the textbook. If I recall correctly, she loves numbers and random statistics.
Then again, that was 3 years ago.
Biggest tip: Start studying now.

If a statistic seems important, it probably is.
She'll most likely test you on the stuff she mentions in class (assuming she still makes her slides have blanks and expects you to fill them during lecture). But like lawley said, she'll pull seemingly random questions. Basically: study everything...

So, for statistics... if it is something that was riddled in (a blank), these are the important ones?
thanks, brahs

I think they mean statistics even from the textbook... You how theres SUPER random stats and numbers in the text? WELLL, I'm pretty sure she'll ask some of those because she said "everything is testable." : //////////!!!!!

They are pretty straight forward. Do the online quizzes/tests.

They really are.
People over-exaggerate her tendency to test on "completely random statistics."
For example, in first year, we talked quite a bit about the nuclear family and how it's changing, divorce rates, how many single women have children, etc. Guess what kind of statistic we were expected to know? You guessed it. Something related to that.
She's not gonna pull out a random statistic from a tiny paragraph that you never even came close to discussing once.

Pretty much, there is no point of looking at her slides? Just know the textbook material and do the connect quizzes?
