You really should be able to get MacConnect in commons, it has it all throughout the eating area.

why? What is wrong with Commons? You realize this is a complete overhaul. I mean upgrades sure... but this is almost starting from scratch.

So they didn't just up and decide that this year they were going to spend all this money and renovate:: they've been playing and budgeting for this renovation for a VERY long.

In trying to improve Mac's quality as a school, food is often a factor, and if you haven't noticed, Mac is usually rated pretty low on the list. Times are changing, and they want to modernize a place that is CENTRAL to many students, esp on North Quad (I've been to commons hundreds and hundreds of times). They want to make mac more appealing, and honestly, an appealing place that'll serve as your main source of food for a year WOULD be a factor in someone deciding to come to mac..

It's not like the money is being taken out of our tuition, either.. this renovation is independent of the other things that need improving at mac.

I think the reason Mac is rated so low when it comes to food is because it's so expensive. I could be wrong, but I think I remember reading that in the Sil when the "grades" for Mac came out.
