Commuting from Toronto for MA in Globalization Studies
Hello!
I'm currently applying for the MA in Globalization at Mac, and wondering if commuting from Toronto for this program would be unreasonable? Right now I live in downtown Toronto and commute to York University so I'm accustomed to a bit of a longer commute.
I've read up on *how* to get there via GO, so I'm not looking for instructions on public transport, but I'm just wondering if many students commute from Toronto. Also, if anyone has done the MA in Globalization program, perhaps they can offer some insight as to the workload or scheduling and how that might impact the logistics of commuting from Toronto.
Any help you can offer is much appreciated.
Thanks so much!

The majority of (active) users on MacInsiders are undergraduate students. So, in that respect, it might be hard getting some insight on the Globalization program at McMaster on here. I commute from Brampton, and usually the GO buses depart on time, and we usually arrive on time. Obviously, you'll need to take an earlier bus than you would initially think to arrive here on time since the commute from Toronto-Hamilton can be really hectic depending on the times you have class (8:30 classes, etc.). Good luck with your Masters here at McMaster !

I commuted from Hamilton to DT Toronto for a co-op during the summer. I didn't find it too bad, took just over an hour from Hamilton to Union, it was a little tiring near the end of the 4 months but it wasn't awful. Plus you would be going in the opposite direction as most of the traffic so that should cut down on some of the time
