COMP ENG level 2 textbooks
hey guys,
Just had a quick question regarding the textbooks required for level 2 Computer Engineering.
COMP ENG 2DI4, 2DP4, 2SH4, 2SI4. Thats all the comp courses i have over the 2nd year. However, I do want to get ahead and begin reading a few of them. I'm not that great at programming so I might just start with the programming related courses.
What are the textbooks i need to purchase for these courses especially the programming courses (author, Book title ).
also, i dint really want to start a new thread, but is Mcmaster offering any summer courses for level 2 computer engineering? if yes , where could I know more about it.
thanks. Would really appreciate your responses.

Course outlines, but textbooks may change every year.
No summer courses for Computer Engineering according to the master timetable. https://adweb.cis.mcmaster.ca /mtt/

2dp4 has a new prof this year so BE AWARE. 2si4 book is useless. 2sh4 book is an ebook you download from the library as per profs instructions.

thanks, that was help.
Just curious, how would you guys rate the programming aspect of computer engineering for level 2 in terms of its difficulty, do we need to have prior knowledge of any of the programming languages ( eg: java, C) or would they be taught from the beginning.
i've heard people say, Comp Eng involves only a handful of programming courses ( probably 2 or 3 ) and focusses more on ELEC courses for level 2 ?? To what extent is that true ?
