level 2 comp eng courses inquiry
hey,

Just wanted to confirm the courses for level 2 Computer Engineering.
Also, I'm not sure but I see just one math course for level 2. I thought there were two of them (MATH 2ZZ3). Would appreciate if anyone could confirm them ???

Level II: 39 units

16 units COMP ENG 2DI4, 2DP4, 2SH4, 2SI4
17 units ELEC ENG 2CI5, 2CJ4, 2EI5, 2FH3
3 units MATH 2Z03
3 units approved complementary studies electives

Additionally, what are good electives to take ? I'm not sure but im thinking about ECON if its available? Looking for something that would complement well !!! Also, when would SOLAR be available for course selection for level 2.

thanks

I am not in ECE but for computer engineering you only do math 2z03, but if you were in electrical then you would do both (2z03&2zz3).

Course selection:

Yeah, you only have 1 Math. 2ZZ3 is replaced by Comp Eng 2DP4.

For maximum easy mode, take electives in the summer. Communication 1A03 and Philosophy 1A03 have low work loads compared to your standard engineering courses.

Based on what i saw on the 2012 to 2013 calender, your program only requires you to take 2Z03!

Lucky u!

Econ would be a safe choice, ppl typically do well on it. But its up to u. I tried Phsyc this year, didnt know really know what to expect, but i honestly enjoyed it! (NOt saying it was EASY!!!) You never know until you try.

To answer ur last Q, there was a thread earlier about this. Heres the link:

Enjoy level 2

Yeah, Computer engineers take only 2z03. One of the best perks of being in comp eng.

Electrical however arnt so lucky...
