The degree should not matter. You get a B.A.Sc, which I believe is a Bachelor of Arts Science. In the end you graduated from the Computer Science program, so it shouldn't matter when you apply for jobs.
Just clarifying that B.A.Sc. = Bachelor of APPLIED Science. (EDIT: Someone mentioned this in an above post as well...)

B. Arts Sc. = Arts and Science (http://registrar.mcmaster.ca /calen...nt/pg1181.html)

You guys are amazing, thank you for all your help.

Quick question tho:
If I buy a car and live in residence at Mac, is there any free parking anywhere? I want to be able to travel around, especially to Mississauga.

As far as I know, free parking doesn't really exist at Mac. You need to pay at all the parking lots on campus and it's pretty pricey for the entire year. If you want to be able to travel around, the HSR (local transit) is usually pretty convenient. You're paying for this in your tuition anyways, and you get unlimited travel on it for the school year at a relatively low price. Many places are accessible by local transit. To go back to Mississauga, you could also take the GO with the student discount, but once again it really depends on where you live in Mississauga, as you might have to switch to Mississauga Transit or find a ride.

HOWEVER, you could try to get a deal with people living off-campus. Some people don't use their driveways (especially with student houses) and might be willing to rent it at a lower price than on campus or even for free.

Good choice! Waterloo comp sci is the better route. Their co-op is amazing and if you do really well, may be you can work at Microsoft or RIM, who knows?

Commuting isn't bad - I take the Go bus from square one. It only sucks on monday, friday and holidays because the residence kids run home to see mommy and daddy. You can do it, I don't do an ounce of work on the bus and managed well.
