Conflict Plagues The School Of Business
For those who haven't heard in the news (see below) there's conflict brewing at the Degroote School of Business. As The Spec explains, a "vicious conflict that has split the school into two camps - those from an academic background and those from a business background. The first group generally wants to dump the dean of business Paul Bates, while the second says he is being treated unfairly and should stick it out."
McMaster's independent office of human rights and equity services issued a 21-page preliminary report on the situation outlining as-yet unproven allegations of harassment, deep-seated animosity, bullying and gross insubordination among factions in the DeGroote School of Business.
