Inhumane courses. But then again engineers have supernatural powers over math and physics.

Perhaps it's under 2m03/2mm3 or 2m06 (what they were before)

Is this because of Dr. Bartosz Protas? If yes, then I'm lucky that we don't have him this year. Thanks to your batch!

Terrible, Comp. Eng only had to take 2Z03, and it ranks definitely as one of top 3 worst courses known to man.

Oh man, you guys are so screwed for 2Z03/2ZZ3 this year. I just noticed on the master timetable they have actual lab components (not just take home matlab ones, like ones you actually have to go to). Also, the awful (from what I hear) professor that taught the year before my year is back.
Good luck...

And who is that prof? Also how is Dr. Yapalparvi and Dr. Gobardo? I'll be in either one of their classes. Is 2Z03 like 1Z04/1ZZ5- like can we just study from the text and ace it?
Oh and also thanks to everyone for such a negative response! Really bought my hopes up!

Well at least its not protas, then you should be fine. I had Dr. Yapalparvi for 2z03, almost entire lecture room was empty by 1st week and everyone learned the stuff themselves. According to people Dr. Gobardo was awful? You will be safe with Dr. KOVARIK which is like a more like a slower version of Dr. Yapalparvi.

Why is that? Was he too fast? Bad at teaching?

He speaks way too fast, rushes through examples, he writes on the overhead and the writing was messy. And a lot of math mistakes from examples and formulas, its direct copy from textbook and he still screws up. But maybe he learned his ways and this year will be better! Attend his class and see for yourself. I taught myself 2z03 and got a 10, which is meh.
