Are you living on res?

In any case, I personally like to squish all my classes together, so I don't have a gazillion breaks in between my lectures and tutorials. I usually shift my timetable around to leave the 1-hour gaps for lunch.

But...I noticed that a lot of your courses only have 1 section, so you really can't do much about it.

I can see your timetable properly now .

I think your timetable is not bad. You managed to fit your courses together very nicely with few one-hour gaps, and your back-to-back classes happen to be fairly close together. In general, I would say you're pretty lucky too though, since I believe many of your classes only have one section (i.e. the Math courses & the Chinese course).

that's lame i couldn't get mandarin =( if a class is full...there's no way of getting into it is there...

You can try and ask the department to open a seat for you. You'll need a good reason.

Probably not, but it's worth a try. Maybe say that you are very interested and you are willing to continue studying the material throughout your years at McMaster. But only say that if it's true.

Calling them would be the fastest way.

Edit: I don't know if the excuse above would be a good one though, considering there are only 2 years worth of courses right now...
