Course Load Changed and OSAP
Hi, so I changed my course load from 30 units to 18 units now and the rest in summer school. I know that I have to inform the OSAP people but I don't know how I'm suppose to do that. Do I directly contact them (who exactly is them) or do I tell the Financial Aid and Scholarships office or Student Accounts office. and do I just e-mail or do I go and talk to them? any help will be good. and I dropped/cancelled my courses today (wednesday nov 9 2011) so my what date should I contact them.

thank you

You simply walk into GH 120 (SFAS) and tell them what you dropped for when (i.e. you now have x units in term 1 and y units in term 2). I'm sure you could call too.. you may or may not have to provide ID to do this (passport/sin/license), I'm not sure.

Just talk to SFAS. Also, your OSAP amount is definitely going to decrease substantially since the fact you're only part-time now (this is obvious) but also, you might end up owing osap money. It's called an overpayment - when osap gives you too much money and they require it back by a certain date (within a few months) and if you don't pay it back you won't be eligible for osap again (idk for a specific time period or permanently).
