I was wondering if the course review pdfs posted on this website are straight from the profs. and if the 2009-2010 course review pdfs will be the same as the 2010-2011 ones. and also, where and when do we get the updated 10'-11' ones from the profs?

Yeah they are straight from the head of that course. And no, course outlines from 2009-2010 will not necessarily be the same as 2010-2011.

I would also like to add that most of the times if the teacher is the same then the course outline will be similar. If the teacher is different then chances are the course will be different (material may be similar for science courses, but for courses like English the material may be very different).

Basically you should look at old course outlines as a guide. The material learned should be similar in most cases so you could figure out if you might be interested in the subject.

You'll get the new 2010-2011 course outlines in class/on Avenue. The ones on this website are outlines that students submitted, but the students all got them from their profs (where else would they get them?).

90% of them I got off the website. I'm actually going through the website again for the term 1 courses but a lot of departments haven't uploaded them yet. I updated some of the Commerce ones though. I have to go through Engineering again because I ran into problems with my PDF files.

But it's important that students send in their course outlines to me especially for courses from Life Science, Health Science, Nursing, B.Tech, Med Rad. There are a couple more like Classics. Basically any folder that is missing ridiculous amounts of course outlines means that they aren't available online. Biochem too.

Not many ECE ones are up yet... like 2-3 i think.. blah.
