Bio 1M03 just changed names for this year. It was called Bio 1AA3 last year and for several years before that, so check out that. One warning: some things, like the course structure, may have changed a bit during the transition.

oh ok thanks and is this the course that we shouldn't buy used books for cuz the course uses a completely different edition that is just starting this year?

The edition has indeed changed for this school year, but you might still be able to use the used books. Usually there is little difference between editions (just a chapter rearrangement), so as long as you don't mind searching for relevant chapters yourself you could theoretically buy the 2nd edition in a used copy to save money (vs. the 3rd in new).

But I would definitely wait for the first class to make sure.

Ooooooo. So that's what Bio 1M03 is? I've been helping people move it around in their timetables but I've never seen it before. I just thought Bio 1A03 second term was the new Bio 1AA3. Ok then.

If you look at the course descriptions/listing, you will notice that Bio 1A03 is still the same, while Bio 1AA3 has been removed and replaced with Bio 1M03, whose description is close to 1AA3 but not quite. Also where Bio 1M03 is a requisite of some sort, 1AA3 is also accepted. From there, I concluded that 1M03 and 1AA3 are equivalent .

And yes, 1A03 and 1AA3 (now 1M03) have now switched terms as well. There are so many changes to the Science department this year o.0!
