Hi Devon, congratulations on getting into Life Science!
I just completed my first year of Physical Sciences and am going into Medical Physics this fall. To get into Medical Physics, the first year courses you need are:
MATH 1A03 (or 1LS3)
MATH 1AA3 (or 1LT3)
BIO 1A03
CHEM 1A03
PHYSICS 1B03
PHYSICS 1BA3 (or 1BB3)
Also, you need MATH 1B03, MED PHYS 1E03, KIN 1Y03 and KIN 1YY3. However, you have until the end of second year to take those last four courses, though it's recommended you complete at least two in your first year.
Since you're in Life Science, the required courses for that program are:
3 of BIO 1A03, 1M03, PSYCH 1X03, 1XX3
1 of MATH 1A03 or 1LS3
1 of PHYSICS 1B03 or 1L03
3 courses from the Life Science course list
2 electives
So, considering all those, this is what I would recommend you take first year:
MATH 1A03/1LS3
MATH 1AA3/1LT3
BIO 1A03
CHEM 1A03
PHYSICS 1B03
PHYSICS 1BA3/1BB3
2 of BIO 1M03, PSYCH 1X03, PSYCH 1XX3
KIN 1Y03
KIN 1YY3
You can complete MATH 1B03 over the summer or take it second year along with MED PHYS 1E03.
I hope this helps.
Good luck!
