Courses
Hi guys, for Life Sciences, the course selection is on June 27, but i heard that you only pick your courses, and what semester you want the course on that day. So my questions were:
1) I was wondering when you pick what time slot you want to have the course in
2) How do you pick your professor
3) Are you even allowed to pick your professor? (regarding question 2)

1. When you select which core component (ie. C01, C02, C03, etc), that determines which time slot your course is in.
2. Each core already has a professor assigned to it.
3. You can change which core you're in to change professors if it fits in with your schedule.

All this information is in the master timetable:

They will automatically assign you a time slot, and you can view this when your timetable comes out in August. If you would like to change it, you can do this after SOLAR reopens.

Just adding to the OP's question:
4) Can you also choose which labs/tutorials you want? Can that be changed later on?

Thank you!

Not in the first stage, those are assigned by the Registrar. You can change them later on in August.

This has been mentioned several times, but no, you don't. You only pick courses in June, then you'll be able to pick the sections on August 9th .
