I'm going into biopsych for second year and Psych 2RB3 and Biochem 2EE3 have the exact same time slots, psych 2RB3 is required while biochem one is on a list of other courses but a very important pre req course for many third year courses, i was wondering what I can do about this or who I shuld go see?

Since one of them is on a list of courses and you technically have other options you probably won't get much help. They're generally only willing to help you in situations with mandatory courses.
That said it might change if they realize this and know many students need to take that course as a pre-requisite for 3rd year courses so it couldn't hurt to just e-mail the faculty, registrar etc and inquire about the conflict.

And if you know anyone else in the same situation, get them to e-mail as well. The more people e-mail the more attention it will generate and the higher chances of something happening.

I'm in the same boat as you actually. I'm pretty bummed because I really was looking forward to Biochem 2EE3.

You can also try emailing the profs for both courses if you can work something out. I had to do that with two courses I want to take this coming school year.

I wanted to take biochem 2EE3 last year too but didn't because of stats. Pretty much any elective I wanted to take conflicted with stats...it sucked. I don't think anything can be done about it because Biochem 2EE3 is not required. If you really want to take it, you can do it over the summer, or maybe take stats over the summer?

I wouldn't take Stats over the summer, we only covered until chapter 7... I believe fall/winter learn up to chapter 13 or even 14.

Yeah, class isn't really needed for the course. You basically just have to memorize everything on the slides. I mean EVERYTHING.
You will need to miss 2 classes for stats though, the tests are schedule in class time for 2EE3.

You can always take one of them in 3rd year.

Muzungu! If their exams are scheduled on the same day they're kind of screwed though.
