I am going into first year medical radiation sciences. Does anyone know if I can get into medical school with this program? Also, what courses should I be taking first year as electives to help me prepare for writing the mcat? Any advice would be helpful

okay here's a thing. You can get into med school with ANY program. and when I say ANY.. I mean it. So don't force yourself to do certain courses thinking you HAVE TO do because it helps you get in med school. Focus on what you like.. if you like your program and courses, the chances are you'll do much better at university.
therefore good average cuz you wouldnt have to force yourself to study for those courses. AND that's one of the things you NEED to get in.
and you'll learn something from your degreee

thank you for the reply, but in regards to the material on the mcat, isnt there courses you should take to expose yourself to the material on the mcat?
