Thanks for discouraging me as a potential mac student... Thought this was going to be a community of helpful students wanting to lead a hand to others. I don't think we are getting less resourceful, I think people are getting more mean and don't want to help. If you have nothing to help me don't bother posting...

i agree with you. its just a few active users who are consistently posting disparaging comments in threads. most people know they should see an academic adviser (if possible) but would still like some advice online or to see if somebody else has gone through a similar situation.
i bet you've probably already looked at this link before but just in case,
http://www.oxfordseminars.ca /MCAT/mcat_profiles.php
this is a fair source to start with. gives you a general idea of which medical schools there are in canada, the minimum MCAT and GPA scores, as well as tuition costs and admission numbers.
i would give you better advice however i am not in the same field. if its any help my brother finished an hnrs life science degree at mac and then a kin degree at york to attempt to enter a canadian medical school, from what he says he wouldve prefered to have done kin in the first place, hes told me before an mcat score of 33+ is good for most canadian schools. like silver has posted above, the most important thing is your GPA, after completing his kin degree at york he received an interview at 2 different schools(including mcmaster!) and is starting medical school in the fall.
goodluck and dont let a few users bring you down, mcmaster is a welcoming school with generally friendly people.
