Is there somewhere on the McMaster MSU site that states what is required in order to create a club? I've been looking but I can't seem to find it, so either it's not there or I'm just not very observant.

I'm interested in creating a club in support of Lupus research, which is an autoimmune system disorder that affects many individuals yet is not well known in the community.

Many don't even know they have Lupus until it affects their kidneys and by then it could be too late. For those who realize they have Lupus earlier on in life, they are required to take daily medications, many of which include multiple side effects including hair loss, avascular necrosis, weight gain, osteoporosis and more. Additionally, individuals with Lupus are required to avoid the sun otherwise it could trigger a Lupus flare. During a Lupus flare, the autoimmune system believes that the body is attacking itself and sends white blood cells to defend the body from itself (despite the fact that nothing is happening). The result of this is the inflammation in these organs which can, at the very least, create joint pain, and at its worst prevent the working of these organs. The organs which Lupus attacks is random and it can even attack the brain. There is a lot more to Lupus but for the sake of this post and the fact that probably a lot of you won't even have read this, I'll stop.

This cause is very dear to me and I would love to be able to create it; however I'm also not quite sure how many people would be interested in joining since it's not well known (though some may have relatives who suffer from Lupus) which is why I would like to know if there is a minimum number of students needed to be interested in forming the club in order for the club to be created along with everything else!
