I don't want to be harsh, but the lamest idea, I've heard. How can things happen naturally if a person is not being social, if he just plays video games in his parent's basement 24/7, occasionally going to classes?
I say not working for stuff to happen, but wishing for stuff to happen doesn't work, unless you are a Disney princess. I say you gotta do stuff. Whoever wants stuff to happen should start from finding a good pick up line.

Couldnt agree more! Youre setting yourself up to be ridiculed. It shows a severe lack of self confidence, and possibly even social skills if you need to post in a forum about how to get a date. Take a deep breathe and try stepping outside your bedroom!
If this comment gets removed, ill be surprised, my last one got taken down for helping to further a persons vocabulary, so cant wait haha

Everybody, one day will die, and be forgotten. Act and behave in a way that will make life interesting and fun. F**k a mundane and predictable life working Monday to Friday doing something you derive no pleasure from; just living life out until you grow old and wither away. Find a passion, form friendships and relationships, don't be afraid to get out there and forget what everyone else thinks. Trust me its a lot more fun that way.

haha so in other words zsimon is planning on being a hippie? but trust him as he says, a first year student has for sure accumulated all the knowledge and wisdom of the world by this point in their life..
Go outside, interact, and you will meet someone, plain as that.

Ironically you're the one who's ridiculing him. And I'm pretty sure your last comment was removed because you have no idea what an idiom is.
