If I completed 27 units of classes first year above the dean's list average and then do 3 units in the summer. Am I considered for the dean's list for second year or just never? I heard the reviewing period in the summer counts for second year.

The summer courses will still count toward your first year. As far as I know (and am hoping because I dropped a course that I'm making up this summer) you'll still qualify for Dean's List if you do 30 units of courses in one calendar year. Each year is assessed separately for Dean's List status.

Well, it depends. You need a certain number of credits for each review. If you're reviewed at the end of first year, that's that. Any courses you take in the summer will count towards your next review, which likely won't happen until the end of second year. That's what happened for me.
