So I'm aware that we've got to move out by noon following our last exam... I was just wondering if there's some sort of procedure we have to follow? I mean like, do we just leave? Or do we have to return our keys/sign out or something.. ?

You keep your keys. Just leave. Turn off heating if you have the control in your room. Basically it's a "GTFO and see you in a few"

I wish we could just stay, i hate going home

If you live in bates. DONT turn on your heating! It gets way too hot, and when I came back in January all my posters were peeled and the room was really stuffy.

Hopefully the info here covers all the bases for what anyone needs to know. However, like lux said, leaving the heat on may not be the greatest idea.
