Deffered exams
Hi, I'm currently not feeling well, and I have an exam tmr and the day after. My choice was to defer them (also to have a doctor's note obv). What is the probability of me not getting the deferral? I would really rather write my 2 exams in June than do horribly right now. Thank you for your input. This is my first time deferring something, so I really do not know how it works. I don't want to get a zero on both courses because I wasn't granted a deferral.

I think as long as you follow the proper procedure, your deferral request is pretty much guaranteed to be accepted, especially if you have a doctor's note.
Hope you feel better soon.

You should also know that deferring more than one exam affects your course load eligibility for the term in which you are writing the deferred exams. In this case, you're writing in the summer, so it would only affect you if you planned on taking summer courses. I don't know whether or not that's the case, but it is something you should be aware of.
You should also wait until after your second exam to submit - but get a doctor's note on the day of your first exam. That way, if you're feeling better in time for your second exam, you can still choose to write it.

I know that this is technically true but I also think it's a rule that either doesn't always apply or can be gotten around. My roommate deferred two summer exams once due to sickness and thus wrote them the following December, but she was allowed to take a full courseload and therefore wrote 7 exams in that December exam period. It was hectic, but nobody stopped her from doing it.

Thank you all for your advice. Im not taking summer school this year, so that will not be a problem! But I still have some sick symptoms, im probably going to get a doctors note the day after my second exam..

There is a group of three "temporary buildings" just north of the parking lot north of TSH. T-28 is one of them.
