During the outage, you could access mac e-mail off campus by switching google accounts. I did this and wrote an e-mail regarding a claim to an insurer.
Should I double e-mail in case it didn't go through somehow?

How did you send it? It should be in your sent folder but that might give you a false impression. In either case I'd re-send it explaining the reason for sending it again.

I'd resend it just to be on the safe side, email was a little wonky after the outage.
