Little confusion here.
By the end of summer school, I'll be done 2 classes (~800$ each), so for the 2012-13 Fall/Winter year, I'll have two less classes to take. On Solar, I took nine courses (30 units), plus two of my 3rd year courses (totaling to 36 units), and on the payment agreement, it came out to ~6500. However, I decided to drop the two 3rd year courses for a part time job but when I did so, it still came out to be ~6500 on the payment agreement. Therefore for my second year courses, in total, I'll be paying 1600+6500 = 8100. However, if I took all 11 courses during the Fall/Winter term instead of two of them during the summer, it would've come out to just 6500, right? Doesn't that mean summer school just stole $1600 from me?
I checked after and realized there's a 33 unit tuition cap for eng:

If that's the case, shouldn't the 9 courses (30units) be ~800 less than the 11 courses (36 units)? I still lose $800 if this is the case, but not as bad as losing $1600, right?
I'm confused :S
