As a rep, I have to say I had way more fun this year than I did for my Welcome Week last year, so that's saying something.

Personally, I thought welcome week was AMAZING. I thought it was super duper fun and I made some great friends whom which I hang out with a lot.

But at the same time, I know a lot of people from my high school(who were very outgoing individuals) were disappointed. They compared us to york, who which had clubbing everyday for their frosh.

But whatever I thought it was great. LP FTW ! Too bad we lost to western though -_- What was the final score to that btw ?

1) If people wanted to go clubbing there were plenty of opportunities but they just weren't official mcmaster events.

2) Clubbing isn't really for everyone, and even people who like to go occasionally (like myself) don't want to do that every night.

But I'm really glad you had fun.

As a rep I'd say this year was better in most ways, and not as good in only a few ways as my welcome week. The only thing I really disliked was having shinerama the morning of the football game as it really cut into shinerama time.

As a grad student i didnt really get to attend, but from the outside it seemed pretty fun. Clubs fest looked cool, lots of ppl running around, crazy engineering guys as usual doing things like handing out cookies in hammocks.
