Welcome Week/Frosh Week
I just wanted to clarify something. The other day i was asking my freinds if they had bought their macpasses or not, and most of them had not...and had little insight on what it was actually.

Is Welcome Week the same thing as "Frosh Week" i guess you can say or is it just something on the side to help us with transition, because i heard the 2nd week is when the real frosh week starts, not including welcome week and the macpass thing??

McMaster's Frosh Week is technically called Welcome Week. It is 7 (or 8 if you move in Saturday August 30th) days of...lots of stuff. It is an orientation week filled with a variety of activities.

It lasts until September 7th. Classes start September 4th.

Unless you're planning on having your own little party and missing classes...all you have is Welcome Week.
