Possible Frosh Week Bands?
Howdy y'all,
'Tis a tad bit early to start talking about university matters months in the future, but nevertheless I am curious; who do think will be playing - or who would you like to see - for the concerts during Frosh Week?
This is a bit too much of an all-star list, but I'd like to see Metric, Tokyo Police Club and Arkells.
Compared to last year, almost any selection of bands would be better.

USS was basically the only band I was pumped for last year.
I'd love to see Tokyo Police Club, The Flatliners, Saint Alvia, and probably super unlikely, but Tegan and Sara?

Arcade Fire would be awesome....
But I'd also like to see the Arkells back (if they have new content)

Arkells would be good. Metric and Tokyo Police Club have played the university circuit in the past, so I don't see why they wouldn't do it again. I saw both of them over two separate years (TPC twice) by crashing U of T's frosh festivities
Stuff I wouldn't mind seeing:
The Balconies
Born Ruffians
LIGHTS
Magneta Lane
Broken Social Scene (hey, one can dream, right?)

Ever year I hold out to see where Alexisonfire goes, we got left behind last year (boo!). USS was good last year, Ill Scarlett put on a pretty good show despite me not really being too much into them. Performal of "Inside You" from Forgetting Sarah Marshall was ace though.

Ya, USS were really entertaining - but what the hell, illScarlett and DWW? And what was that guy doing in the background on Justin Nozuka's set?
Very disappointing.....but USS's use of the blender did make up for a lot lol.
