Welcome Week bands 2010?
Has anyone heard any news about which bands/performers will be at Mac for Welcome Week 2010? I looked around the Mac website but I haven't found anything.

Best thing to do is to just check the FYEO website every day.

I am working for Campus Events this year and I don't know when the announcement will be made for sure, but I know who the bands are and can tell you that the two headliner bands are very high quality and will continue McMaster's tradition of running great concerts. Better than last year, if anyone was unfortunate enough to be subjected to Down With Webster and Stereos...

Thank Zeus! Anything is better than that disastrous duo....
.....perhaps Men Without Hats + Rush?

wtf who is Men without Hats and Rush?
I don't like DWW or Stereos, but I would rather have them than the two previously mentioned bands. I just hope who ever plays this year at mac has some decent music that I can party to.
and while partying I may or may not be ripped. Just a heads up.

Crystal Castles would be mind blowing.

They end a european tour in ireland on the 3rd and start a north american one in nashville on the 7th. Who knows, maybe we have a really persuasive promoter on this.

I am just hoping for something other than indie or rock, or any variations of those styles of music. Not that I particularly dislike those genres, but I'd like to hear some rap, R&B, pop, etc
