Sounds like you guys had fun meeting each other. I'm kind of bummed that I couldn't make it but I'll be looking forward to Sept 19th!

Ahh I'm glad you all had a good time. This just means that with better food and more people at Boston Pizza we'll have a blast!
Also, I've been to 1280 twice this week and I'd say the service was horrible. The place looks great and I love how they have outlets at each of the booths and the bar is a beauty but the service is still bad. I ordered the bruschetta once and it was alright, nothing I couldn't easily make at home. The second time I just had drinks and well drinks are drinks.

Not sure if anyone mentionned this, but we had to wait at least 30 minutes just for all of us to pay.. Apparently because one of the servers didn't know how to use the cash register .. or something like that =/. I really hope it gets better though!

enlarge the font, print it on a separate page and hand it to the manager in 1280, that should do it, if it doesn't...tell him to see an optometrist
oh...also have a print out of the "1280... A new bustling business or a repeat of last years' Quarters?" thread

Yeah... I know it's the first week, but they seriously didn't really know what was going on with anything. That girl, who shall remain nameless (because I don't know her name actually), was completely lost. We asked her about... what was it, the AC? Nothing happened. And then ice cream flavours, no one knew what they were, even though they only had vanilla.

Right now I really think the service is the only thing that needs to be worked on, the servers are new and clueless and it shows. The food quality is about par with Bistro with bigger portions and generally cheaper prices, hopefully the wait staff gets better, this place is slowly replacing Bistro for me.

That happened to me when I applied at Titles a few years back. I had been a cashier for four years with supervisory experience and I wasn't even called for an interview.

What cash register? lol
As far as I could tell, their cash register consisted of the waitress entering information on a computer and then asking the other waiter guy for change. I don't think their was an actual machine :p.
