Chad, you know it would help if you wrote up some guidelines or defined what an ad is. I posted a thread to find potential roommates, just like the last two posters. It was deleted twice and no one even told me why. I don't see the difference between my post and theirs.

Now I have no choice but to keep reposting until someone actually tells me what I'm doing wrong. Also, not everyone can post on the marketplace. I registered a new account so I don't have that option. If the mod who thinks my posts are inappropriate is reading this, I'm asking you to please leave it up.

We will accept threads that are students 'looking for housemates' trying to get a group together to rent out an apartment or house.

By 'ads' I am referring to classifieds for an off-campus house, apartment, suit, or trying to rent out a spare room. This includes 'housemate wanted' ads that are actually a classified ad trying to rent out a room.

Basic rule of thumb, if you're asking for money, then it should go in the MacInsiders Marketplace. If you're discussing off-campus housing, SOCS (the student group), or houses/apartments trying to plan out where you want to live off-campus, then this is the forum to discuss that
