I've seen some postings in the past on OscarPlus and some in the 'Career Opportunities -> Teaching and Research Assistants' section of the Mosaic homepage when you login.

If you're a grad student now, you should be looking to your department to distribute this info.

If you're department is not reaching out to offer its grad students TA positions... LOL.

I didn't understand any of it.

Am I department? God, I hope I am not.

CAS posts their postings on their webpage, what about ECE and Mech Eng?

Good ol' broken autocorrect...

Your* department.

I don't know what they do specifically. I was under the impression that all eng dept's had deals with their grad students -- especially those who did undergrad at Mac -- to offer one or two TA roles. Unless you're doing MEng.

That's just the thing, I'm M.Eng student. I get it that departments will prioritize M.Asc students over M.Eng, but if there's an opening I want to try to get in it... giggity.

Also I wonder whether an ECE student can become TA in other departments.

There's this page here, but I think it's not updated anymore: http://www.eng.mcmaster.ca/eng1/teaching.html

Instead, check the WorkingAtMcmaster site:
http://www.workingatmcmaster .ca/careers/index.php

Click the button on the right side to sign in with your MacID for positions
