How do you appeal a mark?
Just wondering how to appeal a mark on a essay in the English Department. I'm going to talk to my T.A hopefully we can work it out but if not, what do you suggest is the next step? Talking to my professor.... the senior T.A? Has anybody on MacInsiders been through a similar situation, how did you go about working towards a solution?

Thanks in advance

submit for remark? .. but first as your TA what went wrong, because your mark may also go down if it is remarked

If you're not happy with your TA's comments, the next step is to see your prof. But beware, they can just as easily lower your grade as raise it. Make sure you go well prepared with as to why you think you deserve a grade raise, not just that you're uhappy with your mark. Sometimes profs are even harder graders than TAs (but sometimes not, it's a gamble).
