you can choose your labs, tutorials and cores when mcmaster releases personal timetables ( august 7 -9th ). you will be assigned your labs, cores and tutorials, however, you could switch things around to your personal preference.

yea you can choose your cores when they release your personal timetables. you have to go on solar twice and they usually assign the cores and tutorials for you and if you dont like them, you go on solar to change them once they post your timetable

Nothing like 2 posts in a row where the second completely paraphrases the previous, while adding nothing additional

2 completely identical posts in a row is silly, no new information was shared!

^ don't hate guys, it's nice to have reassurance from more than one person. a random post on a random forum can be wrong! two being wrong is considerably less likely.
EDIT: besides it seems more helpful than all your posts criticizing his post

actually, timetable release is on august 7th, and SOLAR only re-opens on august 9th. you will not be able to go on and change around your cores, etc. prior to the 9th like kevinabrahak mentioned (he said august 7-9)

Ooh I had this one question: do the times for labs and tutorials go together? That probably doesn't make sense
Ok, what I mean is: If you choose T01, do you have to choose L01? or can you choose different numbers
Thanks!

You can choose different numbers, provided there is more than one tutorial and core for the class in question.

What exactly do you mean? Do you mean L01 and T01 sort of deal or do you mean if you have an 8:30 AM lab, you will pick the 8:30 AM tutorial at the same time? If it's the former, you could if you want...depends on you and your schedule and what works for you. If it's the latter, you cannot do that as far as I know. If you can, you would run into major conflicts down the road.

Was this supposed to be trolling by copying my post while complaining about other copying posts?

The former But I can see that there are no restrictions, I can pick whatever I want
Thank you so much! Now I can revamp my schedule. Do you mind having a look at it once I complete it?
Thanks!

You're quite welcome. If you don't want other people looking at it, then PM it, otherwise attach it to a future reply.
