What do you guys bring for lunch
I need some ideas for what to bring for lunch. I have been eating at school almost everyday and I am going pretty broke. Anyone got any ideas? Other than sandwiches all the time?

Live on campus? Or off?
Sandwiches are good. I like apples, too. Oranges, bean salads, porridge (oatmeal) is good, too. Pasta salad.
IDK what ethnicity you are, but roti and hummus are a good choice. Easy to eat and clean.

Baby carrot sticks, oatmeal/granola bars, and yogurt are all top choices for me.

Since i commute from home, i just bring with me a sandwich or 2 a long with something else like a granola bar. If my day is too long and i get hungry, i just buy a sub or something.

toe nail clippings and boogers

or campus food

hmmm you can try fried rice, it usually lasts for 3 days as fresh cooked rice than another 3 once you fry it. Its very good if you add other stuff like chicken, beef, shrimp, etc. can be very healthy too if you use brown rice

I think herBs was referring to what the OP has for lunch when they're at home, since the question was what do you BRING for lunch. There are ways to adapt what you eat at home to make it something you can bring with you to school, and I think that's where herBs was going with that question.

Hummus and veggies, curries, salads, pretty much anything you eat at home, you can package up and bring to school with you.

cheapest way but it depends if you go home on the weekends
bring an empty bag with you home open your parents fridge and take anything and everything that looks edible in there :p . if your parents don't want you taking their food ask them to take you shopping and buy some food.
if you are older and have some money, then plan a lunch schedule, budget your money and go out to the grocery store.
granola bars, cereal, yogurt cups, pudding cups, fruit cups, juice and buy some veggies and create your own salad you don't need to know how to cook to make a salad throw whatever you want in it. maybe cook your own dinner and keep some for next days's lunch ( spaghetti, rice, chicken, stir fry) . and sandwiches are not bad, quick and easy to make.
someways i don't feel like eating so i just make a smoothie, easy to make and filling .
just google easy recipes if you want to cook, if you dont want to cook then jut go grocery shopping and buy all the mentioned snacks and fruits .

I either: starve myself, eat pizza pizza at IAHS, or eat random stuff at the hospital cafeteria (slightly more economical prices; especially daily specials)... I don't suggest doing either of the first two.

Lol the first two options were what I did in second year, and in third year, it was pretty much alternating between pizza pizza (at musc) and those beef&chicken patties that they used to sell beside the timmies in MUSC. Pretty gross now that I look back.

I think it depends on what you can cook then pick the one that lasts. Simple things like wraps, perogies, dumpling, sushi, asian bread with stuffed things,

Sandwiches and wraps. Or you can bring pasta, fried rice, and what not in tupperware and warm it up at school. For snacks bring apples, bananas, baby carrots, celery, cookies, and granola bars.
