Do you prefer roommate(s)?
Given a choice. Money is the same. Features are the same.

Would you prefer to live by yourself in a bachelor apartment or a room in a house/apartment with other people?

Bachelor apartment looks like this: Basically one big room that contain kitchen/bedroom/living room.

Would be great if you give reasons for your choice.

Multiple people in a bachelor appartment? I guess it depends on the people (and their gender).

it really depends on the roommate and the size of the room. given there is sufficient space for both people and yo both arent annoyed at too many of each other's habits, i actually would prefer a roommie. im roomin with a high school friend and its honestly great

Err... The heck? You just created your own choice?

Here's the breakdown of my roommates:

-crazy pot addict who threatened to kill me
-dude who doesn't actually live with us
-addicted mmo gamer
-guy whose life revolves around working out

I.e. unless you know your roommates in advance you could end up with a handful of crazy.

So what does that mean? You don't mind but at the same time you rather have the "alone" feeling?

Interesting group of people.

Would you rather be alone and not have this unique living experience?

I lived with someone last year, now I have my own place. It's nice having friends with you and stuff, but at the same time it's much nicer to have your own space to do whatever you want and reduce the chance of tensions between you and your housemates.

definitely better living alone. I am here all reading week, it just is so much nicer not having to deal with worrying about upsetting others, or making a mess. At the moment I have the whole house to myself and it is awesome.

IF all conditions are same, I'd live on my own.

I saved like crazy and had my own one bedroom highrise apartment last year, complete with underground parking. This year I'm going for a cheaper room in a student house. Having my own place is really nice but for me, it doesn't feel like its worth the cost. $605 + hydro + internet, versus ~$400 all in? No brainer.
