When you have a tutorial does not matter, the university wouldn't set it up to screw you over. However, sometimes it's better to have tutorials/labs near the end of the week so everyone else has already posted the common questions about an assignment on Avenue2Learn and have already received answers.

Sometimes early tutorials are better if tests tend to be later in the week, you get extra time to review (kinda) and your tutorial doesn't get swarmed the day before the test with random people.

So either way its good. Wednesday sucks, apparently, lol.

If you have tutorials early in the week, you get the tutorial material earlier than others. This effect is especially prominent in Chem where there are 2 weeks in between tutorials.

If you have tutorials/labs later in the week, you can get some advice/answers from people who had them earlier.

But really, it doesn't make any difference.

Both are excellent points; it really depends on the class. You'll learn after first year when you should pick your tutorials/labs based on what course you are taking. First year wasn't bad, just stay on top of the material and it shouldn't really matter.

Personally I like tutorials later in the week so that you have others to discuss with about the questions, etc. Though I'd say tutorial schedules matter less than lab schedules.
