I'm just planning my schedule now and I noticed that I may have a different teacher for tutorials compared to the core component. Would this be a noticeable problem or would I benefit from this?

If you are talking about first year math courses then the teachers don't actually teach the tutorial. So it doesn't matter which one you get/choose.

If fact, most profs dont teach tutorials, and its taught by the TA's
This the case where the prof for lecture and tutorials are different.
So no, there's no problem with this at all

For the larger first year classes (e.g. sciences and maths) TA's are responsible for the tutorials.
